Kent is a proud sponsor of the New Jersey Interscholastic Cycling League

Kent International is proud to sponsor the New Jersey Interscholastic Cycling League, a chapter of the California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. The New Jersey chapter is one of 19 leagues across the country participating in mountain bike races for middle and high school student athletes. The organization focuses on youth development, and aims to build strong body, mind and character in their athletes with an unwavering focus on inclusivity and equality.

“New Jersey consists of a vast spectrum of socioeconomic neighborhoods, our goal is to provide students from across the state with access to the league and play an active role in overcoming any financial and logistical barriers. And of course, no one sits on the bench, everyone races and earns points for their team.”

The New Jersey League strives to become a household name, and to be integrated in every middle/ high school throughout the state. The league would like to continuously grow over the next 4 years of operation, and eventually split into two regions to accommodate all racers.

The team will be competing in their first race of the 2017 season on April 2nd at Mercer County Park.
